Andrew Bird ARE YOU SERIO(LP/DLX

The tenth studio long player from the whistling and fiddling pop auteur, Are You Serious finds Andrew Bird offering up another compelling set of offbeat originals that pair bucolic folk with hook-laden indie pop. Arriving just one year after the first installment in his planned five-part instrumental series Echolocations, Are You Serious features contributions from Blake Mills and Fiona Apple, the latter of whom duets with Bird on the single "Left Hand Kisses." ~ James Christopher Monger
