For the past 15 years Father Murphy has told a beautiful and haunting tale through their many releases and collaborations which have now lead us to its conclusion. Rising. A Requiem For Father Murphy will be their final album, completing the story their music started telling over a decade ago and has their entire global musical following in tense anticipation. The record was mixed by Greg Saunier of Deerhoof (an RL idol) and was recorded amidst Father Murphy's tour with Jarboe (of Swans), whom they will continue to tour with after the release of this album with festival dates in Denmark and The Netherlands.
