Macseal Map It Out

Macseal have been impressing audiences with their distinctive take on indie-meets-emo. Hailing from Long Island, NY, the quintet draw from a wide range of influences, spanning from youthful favorites like Motion City Soundtrack and Paramore, to more indie trendsetters such as Someone Still Loves you Boris Yeltsin and Soccer Mommy, all the while maintaining a bold sound uniquely their own. In June 2018, Macseal visited Magpie Cage in Baltimore, MD to work with legendary engineer J. Robbins (The Promise Ring, Jets To Brazil, The Dismemberment Plan, Lemuria) to record new material for their first 6131 Records release. The four songs born from this session embody the band's move towards a more indie vibe, while not entirely dismissing their DIY roots. The result is this EP, entitled "Map It Out".
